The two workshops are related, but can be taken individually. Please note that Kelly has been featured in the new book, "PMC Technic," which features her new and unique techniques with metal clay that will be covered in these workshops. Both of these classes are for the intermediate-to-advanced metal clay student. However, NVBS will once again offer a free PMC© beginners class on February 16 to bring you up-to-date if you are new to metal clay work and wish to take these classes with Kelly.

Saturday, March 8 – Stenciling/"Spackling" with PMC© – The Stenciling/Spackling class is based on Kelly's experiments with stenciling on PMC©. The workshop will cover a number of processes to get the look you want. Students will be able to make pendants or one bead. Fired pieces can be used in the next day's class, if desired. Workshop Time: 10 am - 4 pm; includes lunch break. |

Sunday, March 9 – Color on PMC© – For the Color on PMC© class, students will start with pre-fired and cleaned PMC© pieces. We will apply color in a number of ways and discuss a lot more. Students will need to bring at least one piece per color technique – so, approximately 8 to 10 fired PMC© pieces will be needed. Workshop Time: 10 am - 4 pm; includes lunch break |

The location of the Sunday, March 9 workshop is The Fred Packard Center,4022 Hummer Rd, Annandale, VA 22003. The location of the workshop on Saturday, March 8th is not yet finalized but will be held in the Fairfax Co. area. The times of the workshops will be 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with a lunch break) on both days. The workshops are limited to 12 participants each. A lottery system will be used if more registrations are received than can be accommodated. Participants must be current members of NVBS. However, interested parties are encouraged to join NVBS or bring their dues up-to-date through the membership form that is located on our website: www.nvbs.info. All attendees should be 16 years or older. All registration forms must be received by NVBS by February 22, 2008. Your registration will be confirmed by phone or e-mail after February 29th and specific details (location, supplies needed, etc.) will be provided at that time. Cancellations: Call Beverlee Stafford at 703-527-5824 by March 3rd if you are unable to attend the workshop after you have registered. The registration fee will be refunded if all spaces in the class are filled. Only the person registered for the class may attend. Specific projects, designs, classes, lectures and materials are the sole property of the artist.
